Knowing more about Yourself

     ALL YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT YOURSELF.

1.  You are wonderfully and beautifully created by God in His own image. (God is a Spirit)

2.  Do you know that you have a body, a soul and a spirit?

3.  Your body is a house for your soul and spirit. When your body dies, your soul also dies, but your spirit goes back to God.

4.  As the body needs food and care, so does your soul and spirit.

5.  Your soul consists of  a) Your intellect – Formal education and continuous lifelong education  b) Your Emotions. –ability to enjoy good emotions and deal with bad ones. c) Your Will -Learned ability to make good choices based on morals and the Word of God

6.  Your Spirit needs to know and connect with its origin –God. It must keep in touch with Him through prayers, and know His will by reading and practising the word of God ,the Bible.

7.  You are here on earth for a purpose. You need to discover that purpose and fulfil it. You can discover that purpose by knowing God and having a relationship with God who created you..

8.  You are not alone. Where ever you are, God is with you. God loves you. He will never leave or forsake you. He watches over you.. He may be unhappy when you do bad things (Sin) He will always forgive you when you repent and say sorry. In the same way God is ever ready to forgive us, you should be ready to forgive others when they wrong you.

9.  Remember that whatever you do, or whatever decisions you make will affect somebody or a group of people family, colleagues, or friends.

10.  A natural man has crude basic instincts and behaviours such as greed, selfishness, revenge. He has to learn to behave in an acceptable way determined by God and the Rule of Law.( most basic laws and morals are based on the Bible).Religion such as Christianity advocate behaviour and lifestyle based on the principle of love, care, truth, forgiveness and honesty.

Look after yourself, you are beautifully and wonderfully made and have a value and purpose in the eyes of God.

Learn to live and behave in an acceptable way according to God’s laws and the laws of the land and decency.

Whatever you are going through, you are not alone. God is there with you, He is waiting to intervene and work through people. So seek help. (from God and Man)
