Believe

BELIEVE NOT ONLY WHAT YOU SEE.

Many people who are brought up to believe only what they see, find it difficult to believe the concept of God they do not see (they believe by sight). In fact in life there are many things we do not see but we know and see their effects. We don't see the wind but see its effects. We feel it, we see what it does to the trees and the destruction it causes when it becomes gale force. We see many things and don't necessary have to know how they work. Not many science students have been seen atoms or molecules, yet we learn about them and believe the scientific  principles. We have not seen the atom but we have seen the effect of an atom bomb.

The universe itself is orderly, seasons come after seasons, the complex human body works in an orderly fashion as do many things on the earth. Yet some think all this came about by accident !

Others blame religion and God for the troubles which individuals or regions of the world suffer. Why blame somebody if you have not heard His side of the story or get to know Him.

God created heaven and earth and intended to have fellowship (close intimate contact) with man. Along the line man disobeyed and lost the close fellowship. God who loves all his creation, brought  man back to himself by sending His own son  Jesus,as a human being to experience what we are going through, and only through Him we can have the relationship (with a promise) with God. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. To know more and to understand, you need the approach of a child, open minded willing to learn and ask questions.

The decision is yours today. You want to believe from the heart not just a mental acknowledgement of Jesus as the son of God who died as a sacrifice for our sin. God loves you and no matter what life you have led, his arms are waiting to receive you if you acknowledge that you have sinned and that you are sorry for the bad things you have done.

Prayer

God soften my heart so that I can receive your word, thank you for your love for me. Let me appreciate you the more see the beautiful world you have made. May I put away all fruitless arguments and to learn more about you. Amen
